INDEX QATAR 2017 : where Architects hangs out in Qatar every year

INDEX Qatar is an annual event that concentrates on the construction and design sector in the country. Local architects come and introduce their products, works and talk with clients as they see it as a perfect chance to market their brand in the country.

International interior and architecture brands also book a slot in the event to test the Qatari market and observe the clients taste and direction, evaluate the chance of opening here in Qatar and start build a network with other profession in the field.

A set of lectures and workshops were hosted in during the day time was focused on the business in Qatar, digital designing, contractor vs designers, interior design , green designs and many more. which all are great resource for experts , graduates and students who are in the field of architecture, engineering or interior design.

Architects Hub Qatar was there where they let people to set with architects either to get to know the profession or plan their new home. In addition Architects Hub introduced several architects and new graduates to the market in order to attract interns or clients for the architects. several experts and students had approaches their booth and made plans for coming meet ups and joining their network which was perfectly matching the theme of INDEX QATAR.

Zaha Hadid of Qatar : Badria Kafood, the first Qatari Female architect was also there, it was great meeting her and knowing her story and how she worked her way in the industry where women where not allowed to practice or study architecture. A female role model is what the industry need especially for fresh graduate her story can be a reference for people who think about quieting or stop working after their passion when one or more obstacle comes in their lives.
